Courage Appoints Boom

Wells and Young’s has appointed communications agency Boom! to lead a PR and campaign that will celebrate Courage’s heritage and its role at the heart of great British pub conversations.

The agency has been briefed to support the brand’s new advertising campaign that aims to build brand awareness for its iconic ‘Take Courage’ slogan.

Elements of the campaign will see the agency building awareness for the brand through social media channels whilst conducting and publicising an extensive consumer research study into the ‘art of conversation’.

The study will seek to highlight the impact of developments in communication technology and social networks upon the quality of today’s conversations and measure the importance of the pub’s traditional role as a social hub.
