Estrella Damm is a hit on UK shores!

Premium lager brand, and the ‘Beer of Barcelona’, Estrella Damm is the fastest growing premium lager brand in the UK according to January 2012 CGA data.
Estrella Damm far outperformed the more established world lager brands on the market like Peroni, San Miguel and Staropramen, according to the January 2012 data. While total world lager sales are up 9.4%, Estrella Damm is in growth at 282% year on year in the on trade.
The 4.6% ABV lager has been imported and marketed in the UK by Bedford based Brewery Wells and Young’s since 2009. They are the UK’s largest independent family brewer and have a wide portfolio of well-known British ales and premium world lagers. They have significant experience of developing the marketing and distribution of their beer portfolio which includes: Bombardier, Courage Directors and McEwan’s Ales and Kirin Ichiban and Estrella Damm premium lagers.
