Only the Best for Courage

Iconic beer, Courage Best, has undergone a design revamp to increase standout on the bar.

Central to the redesign is a brand new pump clip focusing on Courage’s 200 years of brewing heritage, alongside the stapline, ‘Take Courage,’ with a cockerel standing proudly at the top.

The rich dark blue colour is a step change for Courage Best, and is one which the brewery, Wells and Young’s, believe will really make Courage Best stand out.

Chris Lewis, marketing director, explains: “When we purchased the Courage portfolio of ales in 2007, these stalwarts of the ale world had had no marketing support for years. We have invested significantly and rejuvenated both Courage Best and Directors.

“The brand new design for Courage Best gives the beer a more modern appearance whilst at the same time, ensuring that its history and heritage is prominent. Here’s to the next 200 years!”

In addition to a new pump clip, point of sale has also been redesigned which includes glassware, bar runners and dripmats.
