Wells Bowman Stout (abv: 5.2%) was first brewed in the late 19th Century as Wells Family Stout. The Bowman name was introduced in the 1950's and since then the brand has been subtly altered to compliment the palate of today's stout drinker. It is brewed to a style and recipe that dates back to the 1700s. It owes its rich, rounded, creamy flavour and dark ruby colour to its roots.

The subtle roasted barley aroma and slightly sweet flavour differentiate it from the more bitter Irish style.
