The next ingredient, and the one that is responsible for 95 per cent of the final product, is the water.
The Wells and Young’s well is situated in the heart of Bedford – very near Bedford Park. The well was sunk by Mr Charles Wells himself and the quality of the water is so high that it has been accredited as natural mineral water. That means that we could actually bottle the water and sell it. But we don’t – because then we wouldn't have enough for our beers.
