What’s your favourite part of your job? Working with a great team and solving problems when they arise.

What’s the working environment like? Mostly relaxed with a good atmosphere. We all have separate areas to work in although there is a need to work together when the work load gets very heavy or urgent.

Describe your day to day responsibilities: I work as part of a team, however mostly responsible for one part of the lab. We are responsible for ensuring the product meets the required specifications from the raw materials all the way through to the final, packaged product. We also make sure tanks and other equipment are adequately cleaned and sterile in preparation for filling etc. We advise appropriate department team leaders and operators of any problems so that our beer is always at its very best.
