About Young's
Traditional draught beer has been produced on the site of the Young's Ram Brewery in Wandsworth since 1581, which makes it the oldest site in Britain on which beer has been brewed continuously. However, the difficulties experienced of brewing on this ancient and enclosed site, coupled with the desire of the local authority to acquire and re-develop the site forced the company to consider its options. The result is an unmatched portfolio of the highest quality cask ales, brewed with care and consistency to delight traditional beer fans the length and breadth of the UK and overseas.
Young's pub retail estate remains a separate company, with continued ownership by Young's, boasting some of the finest traditional and contemporary pubs, restaurants and hotels in England.
