With its roots in Kingston, Jamaica, Red Stripe Lager Beer has supported new music and counter-culture rebellion for over three decades.
Since the likes of The Clash (influenced by the reggae scene that developed in the UK, following the influx of Jamaican culture) British music was transformed, ultimately leading to the punk and ska explosion of the late 70's.
From Noel Gallagher seen drinking a can of the beer on the inlay of Definitely Maybe to The View necking a few cans in their first NME photo shoot, British bands have worn their association with the Jamaican lager like a badge of honour, flaunting it on magazine covers, name checking it in songs and displaying it on sleeve notes.
Put simply, Red Stripe has long been the beer of choice for spirited and creative individuals.
